What goes on at Meetings?
Different meetings have different activities, such as:
- Check-In
- Participants talk about recent activities that affect their lives. Here is an opportunity to disclose one's secrets with fellow addicts who relate to our problems.
- Book Study
- Topics from a book, typically Sex Addicts Anonymous (SAA basic text) or the AA Big Book are discussed. (See the SAA Store to purchase.)
- Level 2 & Level 3
- Such meetings are for people who have committed serious sexual offenses, often having been imprisoned for their behavior.
- Boundary Groups
: A meeting that requires special closure for confidentiality and safety needs within the group. Usually requires special permission to attend.
